The design integrates traditional heritage with modern innovation within a nature-infused campus. Utilizing a grid system that reflects the surrounding Islamic architecture and draws inspiration from the iconic fence of Magra El Eyoun, the layout offers captivating views from every corner of the campus. This concept combines cultural heritage, innovation, and nature to create an inspiring and harmonious space for learning and development.
The university is composed of four buildings, each defined by a distinct typology. The largest and primary building houses the lecture halls, with the ground floor dedicated to staff offices and multipurpose spaces. The second building is designated for laboratories, reflecting the needs of a pharmaceutical college. The third is a research building, distinguished by a prominent flying pod element that contains a lecture hall. The fourth building is a communal complex divided into three parts, accommodating a pharmacy, retail shops, and a wellness center.
The project is primarily constructed using a flat slab structural system, complemented by additional structural solutions where required. The research center features a distinctive flying pod suspended by steel cables, which are anchored to a steel floor system at the upper levels.
