MY ACADEMIC RESEARCH CRITICALLY ANALYZES AND QUESTIONS THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MODERN ARCHITECTURAL DISCOURSES AND THEIR INTERSECTION WITH THE URBAN AND BUILT REALITIES IN THE GLOBAL SOUTH, PLACING PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON THE UNIQUE SOCIO-POLITICAL, ECONOMIC, AND CULTURAL CHALLENGES.

I am an architect, researcher, and architectural critic who views architecture not merely as a profession but as an interdisciplinary process for creating meaningful spaces. I believe that architecture goes beyond physical design; it is the manifestation of thought, art, science, and human interaction with the environment.My approach to architecture is phenomenological and human-centered. A designed space is not only meant to be used but to be experienced, lived in, and to foster growth. Every structure continues its life after creation, evolving over time through memories, events, and the interactions of its users. For this reason, I believe that architecture is not confined to technical and aesthetic aspects alone. Rather, it is a fusion of philosophy, environmental psychology, cognitive sciences, and emerging technologies—leading to the creation of spaces that cater to both present and future needs.
